Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Loosen the clamp and position the air cleaner outlet tube aside.

  3. Remove the accelerator cable snow shield.
  4. Remove the throttle position (TP) sensor.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Remove the screws.
    3. Remove the TP sensor.

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
