Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve - 5.4L, 6.8L: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector.

  3. Disconnect the throttle bypass hose.

  4. Remove the two bolts and the IAC valve.
