Oil Pump: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the engine front cover and crankshaft sprockets. Refer to TIMING DRIVE COMPONENTS .
  3. Remove the oil pan. Refer to OIL PAN - AUTOMATED EQUIPMENT  or OIL PAN - MANUAL TRANSMISSION .
  4. Remove the oil pump.
    • Remove the bolts.
    • Remove the oil pump.
