Removal and Installation

All vehicles
- Remove the power steering fluid reservoir cap and siphon the power steering fluid from the reservoir.
Vehicles with 5.4L and 6.8L engine
- Remove the 2 reservoir retaining screws and position the reservoir to gain access to the hoses.
All vehicles
- Disconnect the hoses.
Vehicles with 6.0L manual transmission
- Separate the clutch hydraulic reservoir from the power steering reservoir and position aside.
Vehicles with 6.0L engine
- Remove the pushpin.
- Slide the reservoir toward the engine to detach the reservoir from the bracket and remove the reservoir.
All vehicles
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
The reservoir hoses are marked to show the correct location and orientation. Make sure that the hoses are correctly installed to the reservoir.
- Fill and leak check the system. Refer to STEERING SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
