Removal and Installation

CAUTION: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power steering components can result.
  1. Unclamp and disconnect the hoses.
    • Drain the fluid into a suitable container.

  2. Remove the two bolts and the cooler.

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • If a new cooler is being installed, install the hoses on the new cooler.
