Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes - 4R100 Transmission: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. If not done previously, carry out the transmission fluid cooler flow test procedure. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION-4R100 .
    3. NOTE: If cooler bypass valve (CBV) assembly (7H322) removal is necessary, refer to COOLER BYPASS VALVE - 4R100 TRANSMISSION .

  3. Remove the fluid cooler tube(s)/hose(s), as necessary.
