Crankshaft Pulley: Removal

  1. Remove the engine cooling fan and fan shroud. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
  2. Remove the drive belt. For additional information, refer to SPECIFICATIONS & DRIVE BELT ROUTING .
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  4. Remove and discard the crankshaft pulley bolt.
  5. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft pulley.
