Rear Bumper - Mountaineer: Notes

CAUTION: To avoid damaging the rear parking aid system, disconnect the parking aid sensor electrical connector before removing the rear bumper.

Remove the taillamp assemblies.

Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

To remove individual parts, only carry out the listed steps:

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
