Radiator, Cooling Fan And Shroud: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. If servicing the radiator, drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
  3. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustrations and tables.

    To remove individual parts, only carry out the listed steps: 

    REMOVING SEQUENCE

    Part Steps
    Cooling fan 1, 10, 12-15
    Cooling fan shroud 1, 8, 9, 12-14, 16, 17
    Radiator 1-14, 16-22

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
