Item 10: Wheel Stud Installation Note

- Install washers and a new wheel nut on the wheel stud and tighten the nut until the stud seats against the flange.
- Discard the wheel nut and washers.
CAUTION:
Do not use power tools to install the wheel stud. The serrations on the stud can be stripped.
NOTE:
To position the wheel stud in the wheel hub, align the flat area on the wheel stud with the recessed area of the wheel knuckle.
NOTE:
Do not use the wheel nut that came with the vehicle.
