Compressor-To-Condenser Discharge Line: Removal

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Discharge A/C system, using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING. Remove air cleaner outlet tube. Disconnect compressor manifold and tube assembly from condenser discharge line. Discard "O" ring seal
- Disconnect pressure cutoff switch connector. Disconnect compressor to condenser discharge line from condenser core. Discard "O" ring seal.
- Remove screws and tilt radiator back. It may be necessary to remove radiator from mounting saddles to provide clearance for condenser core removal. Remove screws and condenser core.
- Detach compressor to condenser discharge line from retaining clip. Detach compressor to condenser discharge line from retaining clip and remove compressor to condenser discharge line.
