Removal and Installation

Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR, FUEL CHARGING, STARTING & ENGINE ELECTRONICS - 3.0L (4V) .

Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table. To remove individual components, only carry out the listed steps.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 1: Accessory Drive Belt Removal Note

Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise to remove the accessory drive belt.

Item 1: Accessory Drive Belt Installation Note

CAUTION: Incorrect drive belt installation will cause premature drive belt failure.

NOTE: Make sure the drive belt is correctly installed on each pulley.

Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise to install the accessory drive belt.
