Brake Master Cylinder and Brake Booster

- Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Item 12: Brake Booster Assembly Removal Note
- Remove the vapor management valve (VMV) and bracket assembly and position it aside.
- Remove the wiper arm nuts and remove wiper arms.
- Disconnect the washer hose.
- Remove the cowl cover.
- Remove the cowl cover pushpins.
- Remove the cowl cover rubber trim.
- Remove the cowl cover.
- Remove the cowl brace center bolts. Remove the cowl brace end bolts and the bracket.
- Disconnect the coolant reservoir return hose.
- Remove the coolant reservoir bolts.
- Remove and discard the brake booster-to-brake pedal bracket nuts.
- Disconnect the brake pedal pin from the brake booster input shaft.
- Remove the brake pedal pin clip.
- Disconnect the booster input shaft from the brake pedal pin.
