Removal And Installation

- Remove the scuff plate.
- Remove the screws.
- Remove the scuff plate.
- If equipped, remove the windshield side garnish moulding passenger assist handle bolt covers.
- If equipped, remove the windshield side garnish moulding passenger assist handles.
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the passenger assist handles.
- Remove the windshield side garnish moulding.
- Remove the rear window garnish moulding.
- Remove the screws.
- Remove the rear window garnish moulding.
- From behind the front safety belt guide cover, release the retaining tab and open the cover.
- Remove the bolt and safety belt guide.
- Remove the safety belt anchor bolt and safety belt anchor.
- If equipped with moveable quarter window glass, remove the two screws attaching the quarter window latch.
- Remove the pin-type retainers and lower rear trim panel.
- Remove the quarter trim panel to floor screw.
- Open the rear seat.
- Remove the quarter trim panel pin-type retainers.
- Disconnect the radio speaker electrical connector.
- Remove the quarter trim panel.
- Feed the safety belt webbing through the quarter trim panel.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
If the safety belt guide cover is damaged or if it does not remain closed, install a new cover.

NOTE:
The quarter window glass must be open to carry out this step.
