Removal & Installation: Switch: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

  2. Pull out the radio finish panel assembly.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Pull out the radio finish panel assembly.

  3. Disconnect and remove the radio finish panel assembly.

  4. Remove the hood latch release handle.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Remove the hood latch release handle.

  5. Remove the lower instrument panel cover.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Remove the lower instrument panel cover.

  6. Remove the lower instrument panel reinforcement.
    1. Remove the bolts.
    2. Remove the lower instrument panel reinforcement.

  7. If equipped, position the column gear shift lever out of the way.
  8. Pull out the cluster finish panel.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Pull out the cluster finish panel.

  9. Remove the cluster finish panel.
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the cluster finish panel.

  10. Remove the dimmer switch.
    1. Remove the screws.
    2. Remove the dimmer switch.
