Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes - 4R100 Transmission: Installation

- Install the fluid cooler tube(s)/hose(s).
- Tighten the cooler tube fitting(s).
- Fill the transmission with the specified type and quantity of clean transmission fluid. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - 4R100 - E225-E550 .
- Check for leaks.
NOTE:
If the CBV assembly was removed, refer to COOLER BYPASS VALVE - 4R100 TRANSMISSION for the installation procedure.
CAUTION:
Do not use any fluid approved for MERCON® V application. Using a fluid rated for MERCON® V may cause internal damage in MERCON® only applications.
