Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the battery tray. For additional information, refer to BATTERY TRAY  .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
  3. Remove the fuse junction box cover.

  4. Remove the cables.
    1. Remove the nuts and cable.
    2. Release the lock clip and pull down on the connector.

  5. Remove the bolt from the inner fender bolt.

  6. Remove the battery ground cable bolt and the cable from the top of the transaxle.

  7. Disconnect the harness clip retainer.

  8. Remove the cable ends from starter solenoid.
    1. Remove the upper nut.
    2. Remove the lower nut.

  9. Remove the cable harness from the vehicle.
  10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
