Power Steering Pump to Steering Gear Pressure Line - 3.0L (4V): Removal

CAUTION: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power steering components can result.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Drain the excess power steering fluid into a suitable drain pan.
    NOTE: Do not drop the O-ring seals.

  3. Disconnect the power steering pressure and return lines.
    1. Remove the bolt.
    2. Disconnect the power steering pressure and return lines.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Remove the power steering pressure line bracket bolt to the steering gear.

  6. Remove the power steering pressure hose.
    1. Remove the power steering pressure line bracket bolt.
    2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    3. Loosen the fitting and remove the power steering pressure line.
