Power Steering Pump - 3.0L (4V): Removal

- Remove the ground strap.
- Remove the nut and the ground strap.
- Using the special tools, support the engine.
- Loosen the power steering pump pulley bolt.
- Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to SPECIFICATIONS & DRIVE BELT ROUTING .
- Remove the bolt and the power steering pump pulley.
- Disconnect the power steering low pressure hose.
- Disconnect the power steering pressure hose and position aside.
- Remove the power steering pressure line bracket bolt.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the power steering pressure line and position aside.
- Remove the upper engine insulator bracket bolt.
- Remove the A/C line support nut.
- Remove the engine insulator.
- Remove the nut.
- Remove the bolt and the engine insulator.
- Remove the power steering pump bracket.
- Remove the pressure line bracket screw.
- Remove the 6 nuts.
- Remove 5 bolts and the power steering pump bracket.
- Remove the power steering pump.
NOTE:
Drain the power steering fluid into a suitable drain pan.
