Powertrain Control System
Electrical inputs/outputs, vehicle wiring harnesses, transaxle control module (TCM), Shift Solenoid 1, Internal Wire Harness	Run On-Board Diagnostic. Refer to SELF-DIAGNOSTICS for diagnosis.
320 - HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL ROUTINE
Improper Pressures
Line pressure	Check line pressure. Perform LINE PRESSURE TEST . Refer to LINE PRESSURE CHART table for specifications. If not OK, check Main Control Valve Body.
Main Control Valve Body
Bolts out of torque specification	Tighten bolts to specification.
Gaskets and separator plate-damaged, off location	Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
Shift Solenoid 1 not functioning properly	Inspect solenoid and O-rings for damage. Install new components as necessary.
Shift Valve A not functioning properly	Inspect valve, spring and bore for damage. Install new components as necessary.
Pump Assembly
Porosity/Cross leaks	Inspect. Install new components as necessary.
Gasket damaged-off location	Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
Component damaged	Inspect for damage, missing ball. Install new components as necessary.
Piston seals, springs-damaged, missing	Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
2-4 Band
Damaged	Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
2-4 Servo
Piston seals, springs-damaged, missing.	Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
1-2 Accumulator Assembly
Piston, spring, bore-damaged	Inspect for damage. Install new components as necessary.
