Charge Air Cooling System (F150 5.4L SC): Bleeding

NOTE: Do not mix different coolants or add alcohol or methanol to system.

Add a 50/50 mix of coolant and water to charge air cooling system. Fill coolant reservoir. See Fig 1. Start engine and allow to idle for more than one minute. Turn engine off. Add coolant mix as needed. Repeat procedure to ensure all air is released from charge air cooling system.
