Lines - Low-Pressure Fuel: Removal

  1. Perform the pressure relief - fuel line venting procedure. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION-NATURAL GAS .
  2. Disconnect the low-pressure fuel and the fuel pressure regulator coolant lines.
    1. Pinch off the coolant lines 76 mm (3 inches) from the fuel pressure regulator.
    2. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator coolant lines.
    3. Disconnect the low-pressure fuel line from the fuel pressure regulator.

  3. Remove the fuel line clamp bolt.

  4. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator coolant lines.

  5. Remove the fuel line tether clamp.

  6. Using the Spring Lock Coupling Disconnect Tool, disconnect the fuel supply line from the fuel injection supply manifold (9F792). For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION-NATURAL GAS for detailed use of the Spring Lock Coupling Disconnect Tool.

  7. Remove and discard the two fuel line O-rings.
