Belt Idler Pulley - 7.3L Diesel: Removal

- Remove the drive belt (8620). For additional information, refer to BELT - 7.3L DIESEL .
- Remove the bolt and the drive belt tensioner (6B209) from the generator mounting bracket.
NOTE:
Both the upper and lower belt idler pulleys are removed and installed the same way. Only the upper belt idler pulley is shown.
