Exhaust Manifold - Left: Removal

Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Remove the engine cover. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the two nuts and bolts retaining the turbocharger exhaust inlet pipe to the exhaust manifold.

Lower the vehicle.
Remove the eight exhaust manifold bolts and the exhaust manifold.

Clean the exhaust manifold mating surfaces.
Using a straightedge, check the exhaust manifold surfaces for warpage.
