P0297 - VEHICLE OVER SPEED CONDITION
| Description: | Indicates the vehicle has been operated in a manner which caused the vehicle speed to exceed a calibration limit. The vehicle speed is continuously monitored and evaluated by the powertrain control module (PCM). This DTC is set when the vehicle speed exceeds the calibrated limit set within the PCM. For additional information on the vehicle speed limiter, refer to POWERTRAIN CONTROL SOFTWARE . | ||

| Diagnostic Aids: | The DTC indicates the vehicle has been operated in a manner which caused the engine speed to exceed a calibrated limit. Return the vehicle to customer with information about the DTC. If there are no other symptoms, return the vehicle to the customer with information about the DTC.
