Do not dispose of undeployed air bag modules or pretensioners without first deploying devices. If this is not possible through procedure outlined, contact vehicle manufacturer for further instructions.
Because driver and passenger-side front air bags each have 2 deployment stages, it is possible that one stage has deployed, but not the other. If a front air bag module has deployed, in is mandatory that the module be remotely deployed prior to disposal.
