Diagnostics Activating Procedure (Without Side Curtain & Side AIR Bags)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Wait at least one minute for back-up power supply to deplete stored energy.
  2. Remove air bag simulators from right and left seat belt pretensioner connectors and reconnect connectors. Remove air bag simulator from passenger-side air bag module connector, reconnect connector and close glove box. Remove air bag simulator from driver-side air bag module, reconnect connector and close access door.
  3. Connect negative battery cable. With all deployable air bag system devices installed and connected, perform system operation check. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK  . Perform computer relearn procedure. See COMPUTER RELEARN  . Reprogram pre-set radio frequencies and set clock.
