Selector Lever - MKZ: Removal

Remove the selector lever bezel. For additional information, refer to SELECTOR LEVER BEZEL - MKZ in this service information.
Remove the PRNDL electrical connector from the RH side of the center console.

Remove the LH and RH center console trim covers.

NOTE: LH shown in the illustration, RH similar.

Remove the LH and RH center console-to-selector lever screws.
Disconnect the selector lever cable end from the selector lever ball stud.

Disconnect the selector lever electrical connector.

Remove the 4 selector lever nuts.

Position the selector lever off of the studs, release the tab on the selector lever cable and remove it from the selector lever.
