Removal and Installation

NOTE:
Do not spill brake fluid on painted or plastic surfaces or damage to the surface may occur. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, immediately wash the surface with water.
- Remove the engine air cleaner. For additional information, refer to AIR CLEANER .
- Disconnect the clutch hydraulic fluid tube fitting from the clutch master cylinder.
- Plug the clutch master cylinder.
- Plug the clutch hydraulic fluid tube.
- Disconnect the clutch hydraulic fluid tube fitting from the clutch slave cylinder-to-clutch hydraulic fluid tube adapter.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Remove the clutch hydraulic fluid tube.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Bleed the air from the system. For additional information, refer to CLUTCH SYSTEM BLEEDING .
