Lower Control Arm - Torsion Bar Suspension: Removal

- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire assembly. Remove brake disc shield. Remove the stabilizer link nut, washer and bushing. Remove the front shock absorber nuts on lower suspension arm.
- Remove the torsion bar. See TORSION BAR .
- Remove lower ball joint, cotter pin and nut. Using Pitman Arm Puller (T64P-3590-F), separate lower ball joint from spindle.
- Remove the front suspension lower arm bolts and nuts. Remove the front suspension lower arm.
