Removal And Installation

Remove the turbocharger. For additional information, refer to Turbocharger .
Remove the plug and drain the oil filter assembly and tubes.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

Disconnect the wiring pushpin retainer.

Remove the bolt and retaining clamp at the oil filter adapter.

Remove the bolt and retaining clamp at the oil filter assembly.

NOTE: Use care not to bend the tubes when removing the oil filter tubes.

Remove the bolt and retaining clamp. Remove the oil filter tubes.

Remove the 4 bolts and turbocharger pedestal.
- To install, tighten to 31 Nm (23 lb-ft).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Inspect the O-ring seals for the oil filter tube ends, replace as necessary.
- Check and top off the engine oil after the engine is running.
