Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the turbocharger. For additional information, refer to Turbocharger .
  2. Remove the plug and drain the oil filter assembly and tubes.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

  4. Disconnect the wiring pushpin retainer.

  6. Remove the bolt and retaining clamp at the oil filter adapter.

  8. Remove the bolt and retaining clamp at the oil filter assembly.

    NOTE: Use care not to bend the tubes when removing the oil filter tubes.
  10. Remove the bolt and retaining clamp. Remove the oil filter tubes.

  12. Remove the 4 bolts and turbocharger pedestal.
    • To install, tighten to 31 Nm (23 lb-ft).

  14. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Inspect the O-ring seals for the oil filter tube ends, replace as necessary.
    • Check and top off the engine oil after the engine is running.
