Transmission Insulator And Retainer: Installation

  1. Install the insulator and retainer and install the bolts.
    • Tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).

  3. Lower the transmission while aligning the retainer studs with the holes in the crossmember. Allow the full weight of the transmission to rest on the crossmember.

  5. Remove the high-lift transmission jack.
  6. Install the insulator and retainer to crossmember nuts.
    • Tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).

  8. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
