Wheel Bearing - All Wheel Drive (AWD): Installation

All vehicles

Using the special tools, install a new wheel bearing into the wheel knuckle.

Install the wheel bearing snap ring.
Using the special tools, install the wheel hub into the wheel bearing.

Install the wheel bearing snap ring.

FWD vehicles

Install the ABS wheel speed sensor ring.
Install the wheel hub nut.
- Tighten to 290 Nm (214 lb-ft).
Install the brake disc or brake drum. For additional information, refer to REAR DISC BRAKE article for disc brakes or DRUM BRAKE article for drum brakes.

AWD vehicles

Install the parking brake shoes. For additional information, refer to PARKING BRAKE AND ACTUATION article.
Install the wheel knuckle. For additional information, refer to Wheel Knuckle - Disc Brakes .
