Removal & Installation

NOTE: Brake fluid level warning switch is internal component of reservoir.

Use a suitable suction device to drain the brake master cylinder reservoir.
Disconnect the brake master cylinder fluid level warning switch. See Figure.
Remove the brake master cylinder reservoir. For Tokico type, carefully pry up on the brake master cylinder reservoir to remove. See Fig 1. For Bosch type, remove the roll pins, then carefully pry up on the brake master cylinder reservoir to remove. See Fig 2.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Lubricate the 2 grommets with clean brake fluid. Press reservoir into the grommets until it snaps.
Bleed as necessary. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
