Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. On vehicles with dual batteries, see DUAL BATTERIES under MISCELLANEOUS. Remove glow plug relay terminal cover. Remove wiring nuts and wiring form relay. Remove 2 glow plug relay retaining nuts. See Fig 1 . Remove relay and inspect plastic base for cracks. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten mounting nuts and cable connections to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
