Removal & Installation (5.4L & 6.8L)

Remove engine cover. See ENGINE COVER  under MISCELLANEOUS. Disconnect 2 EGR valve tube hoses. Disconnect upper and lower EGR valve tube fittings Remove EGR valve tube. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten EGR valve tube fittings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
