Removal (4.6L)

Remove engine cover. See ENGINE COVER  under MISCELLANEOUS. Remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) vacuum hose, EGR valve tube fitting and mounting bolts. Remove EGR valve. See Figure. Discard EGR gasket.
