Removal And Installation

Remove the front bench seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front, Bench in this article.
Release the RH hook and loop strip on the cushion flap.

Release the RH J-clip.

Release the RH recliner cable.
- Release the cable anchor from the latch retainer.
- Swivel the cable end and remove.

Remove the RH cushion latch recliner bolts.
- To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).

Release the LH hook and loop strip on the cushion flap.

Release the LH J-clip.

Release the LH recliner cable.
- Release the cable anchor from the latch retainer.
- Swivel the cable end and remove.

Remove the backrest assembly.
- Remove the recliner handle screw.
- Remove the recliner handle.
- Remove the LH cushion latch recliner bolts.
  - To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
- Slide the backrest assembly rearward and remove the backrest assembly.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
