Axle and Differential Draining and Filling

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
- Drain and refill the front axle lubricant.
- Remove the fill plug.
- Using a suitable oil suction gun, remove the axle lubricant through the fill hole.
- Fill the axle with the specified type and quantity of lubricant.
- Install the fill plug.
- Tighten to 27 Nm (20 lb-ft).
