Transfer Case

  1. Install a new transfer case-to-transmission gasket.

  2. Fill the transfer case. For additional information, refer to Transfer Case Draining and Filling  in this article. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS  in this article for the correct type and quantity of fluid.
  3. Tighten the transfer case-to-transmission bolts to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft) evenly in a star pattern.
