Pinpoint Test B: The Alarm System Does Not Arm/Disarm - Using The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Transmitter

NOTE: All integrated keys must be present before diagnosing the RKE system.
  1. B1 CHECK THE ALARM SYSTEM USING THE DRIVER DOOR ARM/DISARM SWITCH 
    • ARM the alarm system using the driver door lock control switch.
    • DISARM the alarm system using the driver door lock cylinder switch.
    • Does the alarm system arm and disarm correctly? 

    Yes  : REFER to HANDLES, LOCKS, LATCHES AND ENTRY SYSTEMS to continue diagnosis of the RKE transmitter.

    No  : GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
