Removal and Installation

    All vehicles 

  1. Position the bottom-half of the front door weatherstrip aside.
  2. Position the bottom-half of the rear door weatherstrip aside.

    3. Five Hundred, Montego 

  3. Remove the rear seat bolster. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Position the rear of the scuff plate trim panel away from the body mounting stud.

    5. All vehicles 

  5. Remove the lower B-pillar trim panel.
    • Pull the lower B-pillar trim panel toward the center of the vehicle to release the retaining clips.
  6. Pull the front of the scuff plate trim panel upward to release the retaining clips.
  7. Pull the rear of the scuff plate trim panel upward to release the retaining clips.
  8. Pull the middle of the scuff plate trim panel toward the inside of the vehicle to release the alignment guides from the lower B-Pillar trim panel.
  9. Remove the scuff plate trim panel.
  10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
