Possible Component Reference/Action
259 - ROUTINE 
All Wheel Drive (AWD) System  -
  • AWD damaged.
  • Refer to the appropriate AWD article for diagnosis. All AWD issues must be repaired prior to continuing with transaxle diagnosis.
Powertrain Control System  -
  • TCM calibration, control pressure solenoids
  • Verify that the TCM is at the latest calibration level, if not reflash to the appropriate calibration level.
Internal Component  -
  • Seals, gaskets or components leaking
  • Inspect for damage. Repair as required.
Other Possible Components  -
  • Chain and Variator assembly
  • Inspect for damage. Repair as required.
  • Final drive assembly
  • Inspect for damage. Repair as required.
  • Pump assembly
  • Inspect for damage. Repair as required.
