Test E: All Power Door Locks Inoperative From One Switch

NOTE: After making any repairs, retest system for proper operation.
  1. Remove and disconnect inoperative door lock switch harness connector. Measure resistance ground and inoperative power door lock switch harness connector terminal No. 1 (Black wire). See Figure. If resistance 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire between inoperative power door lock switch and ground. Ground point is located behind right kick panel. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  2. Disconnect operational power door lock switch harness connector. Measure resistance in Pink/Light Green wire between operational power door lock switch harness connector and inoperative power door lock switch harness connector. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Pink/Light Green wire between operational power door lock switch and inoperative power door lock switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  3. Measure resistance in Pink/Yellow wire between operational power door lock switch harness connector and inoperative power door lock switch harness connector. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace inoperative power door lock switch. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Pink/Yellow wire between operational power door lock switch and inoperative power door lock switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
