Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the front and rear door scuff plates.
  2. Position the front and rear door weatherstrips aside.
  3. Remove the lower B-pillar trim panel.
  4. Remove the safety belt D-ring cover.
  5. Remove the safety belt D-ring bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
  6. Remove the screw and the upper B-pillar trim panel.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Check the restraint system for correct operation.
