Test B: Power Seat Moves But Is Noisy

WARNING: Vehicle is equipped with seatback-mounted air bags. Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation involving seat components. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
CAUTION: Air Bag Simulator (40-009) MUST be connected to all air bag floor harness connectors. After diagnosis/repair, air bag simulator must be removed prior to operating vehicle.

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Remove seat and check for obstructions in the track. See SEAT ASSEMBLY  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If there are obstructions, remove and grease track. If there are no obstructions, replace seat track. See SEAT TRACK  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
