Removal and Installation

- Remove the luggage compartment trim panels.
- Remove the 4 rear bumper cover inner fender screws (2 on each side).
- Remove the 2 rear bumper cover screws.
- On the RH side, remove the rear bumper cover bolt and the nut located in the wheel well area.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
- On the LH side, remove the rear bumper cover bolt.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
- From the luggage compartment, remove the 5 rear bumper cover nuts.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
- From the luggage compartment, remove the 6 rear bumper cover nuts (3 on each side).
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
- Remove the rear bumper cover.
- If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
