Front Door Window Glass: Installation

  1. Position the front door window glass against the B-pillar.
    2. NOTE: Make sure the front door window glass correctly seats in the glass mounting brackets as the front door window regulator is raised.
  2. Support the front door window glass and raise the front door window regulator to the full upright position.
  3. Tighten the 2 front door window regulator-to-glass clamp bolts after the glass is fully seated in the clamp.
    • Tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
  4. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  5. Disconnect the window control switch electrical connector.
  6. Install the interior weatherstrip.
  7. Install the watershield.
  8. Install the front door trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
