Seat Backrest - Rear: Removal

All backrests

1. Using a suitable tool, release the mini-buckle.

2. Release the 2 levers located at the lower outboard edges of the seat cushion, lift the cushion up and pull the cushion out.

3. If equipped, disconnect the heated seat electrical connectors at both outboard sides of the seat cushion.

4. Remove the seat cushion.

60 percent backrest 

5. From the luggage compartment, release the 60 percent seat backrest.
NOTE: Original fasteners must be discarded and new service fasteners installed. Service fasteners can be reused.
6. Remove the two 60 percent rear seat backrest fasteners and discard.
7. Remove the 60 percent seat backrest.

   40 percent backrest 

8. From the luggage compartment, release the 40 percent seat backrest.
NOTE: Original fasteners must be discarded and new service fasteners installed. Service fasteners can be reused.
9. Remove the two 40 percent rear seat backrest fasteners and discard.
10. Remove the 40 percent seat backrest.
