Seat Backrest - Rear: Removal

All backrests
- Using a suitable tool, release the mini-buckle.
- Release the 2 levers located at the lower outboard edges of the seat cushion, lift the cushion up and pull the cushion out.
- If equipped, disconnect the heated seat electrical connectors at both outboard sides of the seat cushion.
- Remove the seat cushion.
- From the luggage compartment, release the 60 percent seat backrest.
- Remove the two 60 percent rear seat backrest fasteners and discard.
- Remove the 60 percent seat backrest.
40 percent backrest
- From the luggage compartment, release the 40 percent seat backrest.
- Remove the two 40 percent rear seat backrest fasteners and discard.
- Remove the 40 percent seat backrest.
60 percent backrest
NOTE:
Original fasteners must be discarded and new service fasteners installed. Service fasteners can be reused.
