Rear Disc Brake: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts.
- Position the brake caliper anchor plate and brake caliper assembly aside.
- Measure the brake disc thickness and install a new brake disc if it is not within specification.
- Inspect the disc brake caliper and install a new one as required.
CAUTION:
Using a suitable tool, support the brake caliper and brake caliper anchor plate to the vehicle.
